ATTENTION! As many of you know, being a tattooer has gotten really expensive. Overhead costs are literally 10x what they were when I started yet tattoo prices are only 2x what they were. This, paired with having a newborn has caused me to increase my minimum price per session. This is not a price increase for my tattoos, but a higher minimum for appointments so I can make the most of my time at the clubhouse. If you’re wanting a lil trad banger, please wait to book with me when you have 2 tattoos that you’re wanting. This will give you the most for your money. A nonrefundable $200 deposit is required to book an appointment via Venmo or Cashapp, No Cash or checks for deposits! Cash, Venmo or Cashapp is ok on the day of your appointment. Thank you so much for considering me for your next tattoo. Please note my preference is Appazumi (pictured above). This style incorporates background elements to create a more cohesive tattoo as opposed to ‘patchwork’ style tattoos. I enjoy both approaches so please let me know if classic traditional is more your vibe!. Here are some other things to keep in mind before filling out a booking form:
I typically make tattoos Monday-Saturday in Knoxville. Rarely other days of the week. Saturday and Evening appointments are usually reserved for existing clients. Travel dates are posted on my Instagram @nickmorantattooer. Please subscribe to my travel channel.
I like to charge a minimum of $400 per session in Knoxville and $500 per session everywhere else, however, please let me know if you have a smaller budget as I may be able to fit you in between appointments. If you are wanting a smaller tattoo, I suggest getting more than one per session for the best value.
Traditional tattoos usually do not make the best cover up tattoos, but you’re always welcome to ask. Blastovers are also an option! That means you may see the old tattoo showing through a bit. Check out my Instagram for examples.
I don’t like to work on the same session for much more than 4 hours, however I am one of the fastest tattooers in the world for my style and rarely will need more than one session to complete a tattoo. I do offer longer sessions for my style, because I don’t get fatigued as easy if i’m in full creative mode.
I prefer you do not show me a tattoo you’ve been saving on your phone for years, even if it’s mine. Instead, tell me what image is desired and allow me to create an updated version of the design for you. This is because my art style is constantly evolving and I want to strive to be better.
It is preferred that you choose a design from my vast reference collection on the day of your appointment. Most options will only be available to view in person but check out my flash highlight on Instagram for sample designs.
I only take custom requests in Knoxville. If you have a custom request please be as vague as possible. I do my best work when I have the least amount of limitations. Every detail you mention will pull me away from artistic freedom and will water down the artwork.
An example of a custom request I would be excited about: ‘I would like a blue rose with my partner’s name somehow incorporated. We had blue roses at our wedding. Make it Appazumi.’
An example I may pass on could look like this: ‘I would like a lighthouse that wraps from my inner wrist around to my elbow. I don’t want any red, green or blue ink. I would like the pattern to somehow blend that of St. Augustine’s and Cape Hatteras’s lighthouses. I would like a silhouette of my child and I fishing at the bottom. I want to be wearing a FL Gator’s jersey.’
Please keep in mind again that choosing from my designs the day of is always preferred. If making a custom request, please keep my style in mind. If you haven’t seen it tattooed, it’s probably for a good reason.
